"Printing Process" Section

You can set or view parameters relating to printing in the "Printing Process" section.

"Printing Process" group

Output Profile

In "Output Profile", you can assign a uniform output profile for the sequences you use. This makes sure that the same output profile will be used in all sequences that are used.

Note: You must enable the "Use Press Profile from Job, if Available" function if this is in a sequence you are using. A yellow triangle displays instead of the green dot in front of the parameter name in the "Parameters" column in "Consistency Check" if a different output profile is set in a sequence.

Click the "Change" button to display a window where you can select an output profile.

None

An existing output profile is removed when you click "None".

Process standard

You can select a uniform process standard in "Process standard".

A click on "Change" opens a window. This is where you can choose the pro­cess standard you want.

A process standard that may be selected is removed when you click "None".

"Consistency Check" group

Issues that occurred during the consistency check of the printing process are shown in "Consistency Check".

Column set

This list box allows you to create and save your own sets of columns or to select the set you want from existing ones.

Quick Search

The Quick Search lets you display the items of the consistency check in a way that you can find the ones you want again fast.

Type in the text you are looking for in the Quick Search box. The system now scans the columns for the text you are looking for. All items that do not contain this search item are hidden.

You will find a list of the parameters with their names in this column. A yel­low triangle displays instead of the green dot if there is a conflict.

Conflict Type

The conflict displays in this column (e.g. "Sequence Profile").

Elements

This column displays the element that caused the conflict (e.g. "Prepare" sequence).

Expected Value

This column displays the expected value (e.g. press profile "OffsetEuro U370GCR50 V25PO4").

Actual Value

This column displays the present "actual" value (e.g. press profile "ISO Coated").

Product

The product name displays in this column.
