In this view, you can add processing sequences to the new job. This can be, for example, a predefined group sequence or one or more single sequences.
At this point, it is not absolutely necessary to add processing sequences to the job. You can also add the required sequences after you created the new job.
"Add" button
Click this button to open the "Select Templates to Add" dialog. This dialog presents you with all the sequence and group templates defined in the Prinect Manager (in "Administration > Resources > Templates"; see also Sequence Templates) for selection.
Select the group or single sequence(s) that you wish to add to the job and confirm the dialog with "Add". The selected templates display in the template box.
"Remove" button
To remove one or more templates from the template box, mark the template(s) concerned and click "Remove".
"Save as Default" option
Note: This option is designed for the case that the selected sequence templates will be used for automatic job creation. You should leave this option disabled for a "normal" print job.
You can create new jobs automatically with the Prinect Manager by setting up a hotfolder, for example, in a Qualify sequence and enabling it for automatic job creation (see "Hotfolder" option). When you assign such a Qualify sequence to a job, any document files filed in future to this hotfolder will cause new jobs to be created automatically from these documents. In such a "master job", "Save as Default" must be enabled when sequences are assigned because automatic job creation is enabled as a result.
Note: In a pure digital printing workflow you can also set that jobs will be created automatically, even without the "hotfolder mode". In this case, you can create new jobs by dragging-and-dropping the document files on top of the master job in the Cockpit job list. For this mode as well, "Save as Default" must be enabled in the master job.
You will find details about the buttons along the bottom of the dialog in: Buttons in all views.
