As already mentioned, the speed index (1) is one of the OEE indicators (OEE Index). The higher the average printing speed, the more productive you will be with your press.
The "Speed index" diagram displays the following information:
•The average speed index for each day (2).
•The average speed index for the month as a whole (3)
•The calculated OEE index (4) See OEE Index.
Calculating the speed indicator:
Example:
For calculation purposes, a maximum printing speed of 18000 impressions per hour was defined. See Where can I define the maximum production speed?. A speed index of 50% would indicate that your jobs are being produced at an average printing speed of 9000 impressions per hour. A speed index of 75% is equivalent to an average printing speed of 13500 impressions per hour.
Where can I define the maximum production speed?
To calculate the speed index, you use the maximum production speed that was set when creating the machine. See also Performance Parameters.
