As already mentioned, the time index (1) is one of the three OEE indicators (OEE Index). The higher the average time indicator, the more productive you will be with your press. Provided only little waste is produced.
Let us assume that your press is switched on at 8:00 in the morning and switched off again at 4:00 in the afternoon. During this period (8 hours) the press is always ready for production. A time index of 50% in this case means that the press only produced good or waste sheets for 4 hours out of a possible 8 hours.
The "Time index" chart displays the following information:
•The average time index for each day (2)
•The average time index for the month as a whole (3)
•The calculated OEE index (4) See OEE Index.
