Configuring color data export on the Prinect Press Center

1.At the Prinect Press Center control station, go to "System > Service > Integration/System > Pri­nect Configuration > Data storage management".

2.Enable the "Color data export" data storage by adding it to the list "Active data storage devices" with the arrow button.

3.Click the "Data storage configuration" button.

Designation

Explanation

AnalyzePointEx­port

empty (default) = off; color data is not provided for Analyze Point.

Option enabled (with "Modify" button) = on; color data is provided for Analyze Point.

AnalyzePointFol­der

This is where you must input the directory to which the color data to be exported is to be written.

This directory must match the settings in Prinect Integration Manager/Prinect Pressroom Manager you specified when setting up the device. As a rule, the directory is: "\\<server_name>\PTConfig\IT8Hotfolder\<device_name>".

4.Select the "AnalyzePointExport" attribute and then click on the "Modify" button.

ยทOnly then will the color data be provided in the color measurement directory to be defined for Analyze Point.

5.Select the "AnalyzePointExport" attribute and then click on the "Modify" button.

The "Choose directory" dialog window opens. This dialog window displays all computers that are in the domain defined under the network settings.

The default path "\\<server_name>\PTConfig\IT8Hotfolder\" is automatically selected.

6.Select the desired output directory for the color data in this default path.

This is where you must select the directory that you previously defined as the color data source directory when creating the press.

Note: If no directory structure or a default path is displayed, you can alternatively click on the entry field in the "Name" section and enter the output directory for the color data in the "Entering names"  dialog window that appears.

Note: You must specify the "AnalyzePointFolder" again when adding new data storage.

7.Click the "Confirm" button.

The connection to the Analyze Point should now be established. As soon as the first color data is generated, it is available for evaluation on Analyze Point.
