7.When the connection is established, close the window by pressing the OK button.

8.Assign the press by pressing any of the buttons 1 thru 4.

The icon is colored accordingly and also appears in the header.

Setting Up Data Connections

Prinect Image Control 2 is connected via Ethernet. Input and output folders are configured automatically during installation.

"Configuration of color data export": The two folders "Analyze Point 1" and "Analyze Point 2" are set up for Analyze Point. "Analyze Point 1" is specified by default.

"Quality monitor": The two folders "QualityMonitor 1" and "QualityMonitor 2" are set up for assessing color measurement data with the integrated Quality Monitor. "QualityMonitor 1" is specified by default.

"PPF output directory": Four hotfolders ("Hot 1" thru "Hot 4") are set up for the transfer of presetting data.

You can edit or extend these preconfigured data connections in "Prinect Configuration" (to call up: "Malfunction > Service > Integration / System > Prinect Configuration").

Connecting Prinect Axis Control II

Prinect Axis Control II is the standard measuring and control system for effective quality assurance. It forms a perfectly matched unit with the Prinect Press Center, the high-performance control station of the press. Simultaneous ink control of all presses is based on values determined by spectral photometry.

The connection to the Analyze Point lets you analyze the quality reports for each operation in the Prinect Integration Manager/Prinect Pressroom Manager. The evaluations can be used both as the basis for internal quality analyses and for complete quality verification for customers.

Note: As of the Prinect Integration Manager/Prinect Pressroom Manager version 2015, color data evaluation no longer displays in Analyze Point for Prinect Axis Control I.
