Dynamic marks (see Dynamic Marks) are replaced by their current values if you enable this option. In this step you can also set up various options for the handling of marks during output.
"Draw Boxes" options
By enabling the Pages, Bleed, Paper, Sheet options, you can set that the related boxes will be output in the proof in the special spot color, "ProofColor". Clip paths can also be shown in "ProofColor" in the proof.
"Dashed" option
The boxes are drawn as dashed lines when you enable this option.
"Line weight" parameter
This is where you can set the line weight of the box lines.
"Set Proof/DieLine Colors to Knockout" option
When this option is enabled, "ProofColor" or "DieLine" objects are set to knockout so that the objects lying below them are hidden. This gives you a reliable way to display "ProofColor", that is normally overprinting, in dark parts of the page as well. (Usually, "ProofColor" can hardly be seen in dark parts of the image.)
"Indicate Marks in Proof at Lower Area Coverage" parameter
Enter a value less than 100% in this box to output marks in the proof in a lower area coverage As a result, on the one hand the entire sheet layout including the marks is represented during proofing, and on the other less material (proofer ink, toner, etc.) is required for printing the marks if the PDF documents are output to a proofer.
"Convert ProofColor in Black-and-White Surfaces to K" option
This option is designed for the case that an imposition proof will be output in black-and-white only. If you enable this option, all the objects defined as "ProofColor" are converted to K so that the imposition proof does not have to be output in color.
"Replacement Font for Missing Marks Font" option
This option is designed for the case that a font defined in a mark is not available on the Prinect server. The missing fonts will be replaced by the font you entered in the text box if this option is enabled. Make sure to enter a font that is in actual fact available for output.
