Which data from a previous job can be available for a repeat job?
Note: With a Prinect Pressroom Manager, only the "Plates" and "Press Presets" options are available for selection. Only with a Prinect Integration Manager are all options available for selection.
Archive data
Use this option to copy existing data from the Prinect Archiver Pro. These are job-specific data that are part of the job but yet are not relevant for production (e.g. prepress data from Adobe InDesign).
Documents
Use this option to use the documents (PDF files) of the produced predecessor job.
Pages and Page Lists
Use this option to copy existing pages and page lists to the Prinect Manager job.
Layouts
Use this option to import the layouts of the produced predecessor job. Page positions are assigned to the sheets as in the predecessor job if "Pages and Page Lists" is enabled in addition to "Layouts". Existing layouts are replaced in the repeat job.
Note: Layouts are considered identical when the number of signatures and sheets are identical to the layouts from the predecessor job.
Note: The sheet names of the predecessor job are also imported to the replaced layouts. This is important during an import from an MIS where the sheet names are first not kept in a repeat job.
Sequences
Use this option to accept the sequences of the produced predecessor job. In combination with other options, e.g. "Documents", a completed Qualify sequence is also available in the repeat job. It is not necessary to run through the Qualify sequence again.
Note: Sequences in the repeat job with the same name are replaced by the sequences of the predecessor job.
Plates
Use this option to use the imaged plates from the predecessor job. The number indicates how many plates are detected in the predecessor job.
When enabled, this option in the repeat job indicates that plates are available. As a result, the press sheets can be submitted directly to the press without having to image the plates again.
Press Presets
This option lets you use machine data of a predecessor job that is already produced like ink data, fan and powder values. For more details, see: Prerequisites for Using Press Presets.
The press presets are used even if the predecessor job no longer exists or is only in an archive.
