Overlapping operations

It can happen that operation times overlap, in other words, the schedule bars of two operations overlap in the planning board. This occurs, for example, when scheduled operations take longer than calculated or machine operators process other jobs on the machine earlier.

Resolving overlaps

Overlaps are resolved when you click the "Clean up Scheduler: Operation overlaps are eliminated" button (see also "Clean up Scheduler" button).

Example: The print job manager has processed a different job to the scheduled one earlier, causing an overlap with the subsequent cutting operation. Loaded operations in the set-up status are shown "half size" and with a "green-yellow" icon in the planning board. You can resolve the resulting overlap of  the "Printing" and "Cutting" operations with the "Clean up Scheduler: Operation overlaps are eliminated " button.
