Proof Step
Proofing in this step is a review of the layout. You review pages in the "Pages" step.
This displays sequences to which you can submit existing documents. To do this, drag-and-drop the document to the sequence concerned.
Sequence templates that may be available in this step:
•ImpositionProof sequence for TIFF sheets: Output to a sheet proofer (color control also possible, if required) or TIFF sheet review and approval with Prinect Portal Services.
•SendImposedPDF sequence for PDF sheets: Review and approval of PDF sheets in the Remote workflow with two options: Generate PDF sheets and send them by e-mail or use Prinect Portal Services.
•FormProof sequence: Proofing in the ROOM Proof workflow for TIFF-B export. The FormProof and FormOutput sequences are always used together in the ROOM Proof job.
•BookletProof sequence: Creation of a temporary PDF sheet document that is then output as a proof.
•ForkSheet sequence: Lets you submit layouts to several (similar or different) sheet output sequences at the same time (parallel processing).
Click the "+" button to open the "Select Templates to Add" window. In this window, you can add other sequence templates to "Submit to".
