Cutting
Aim is to gather certain 1ups that will be separated on special cutters. For example, if the regular cutter for the press sheet is not capable of cutting extremely small 1ups like business cards. Then these are grouped in a cutting segment and separated only on a second cutter.
Finishing
This type of segment gathers 1ups that are to undergo finishing in a certain way. Typical machines are coating units or laminators. The segment structure is not different to that of the cutting segments because after finishing the segment is separated like with the cutting segment.
Folding
One-dimensional folding sheets (1xn, nx1) of the same width can be combined lined up to each other. In this process, you can set how many folding sheets may be in one segment and what are the size restrictions for the fold segment.
