Cost categories, previously known as 'Rubrics', are the backbone for the ledger scheme used in estimate and real cost calculation.
One or more costs categories are filled in every estimate and real cost parameters. By doing so, calculated and real costs are booked onto these cost categories.
The list of cost categories should hold all possible costs to be used in cost reviews (estimated or real cost).
Tip: Create an extra cost category, preferably "000000 - Unknown" and make this the default cost category in Press sheets standard configurations and Labels standard configurations. All costs which can't be assigned a cost category (e.g. because the parameters aren't completely filled in) will be gathered on this cost category.
