Assisted by the Prinect Color Toolbox, a small measured data file and standard ICC profiles can used to create larger measured data files that you can then use to generate new ICC profiles. Which color quality can I achieve with Prinect Multicolor?
You need a lot of spot colors for your print jobs. Which percentage of them can you simulate with Prinect Multicolor? Let's find it out.

You received a new batch of ink for a spot color and wish to check whether it is suited to reproducing the data correctly on a printing material. "Compare color values" lets you analyze how much the color deviates from the target values of the color table.

For technical or cost reasons, it may be less expensive to print a spot color using CMYK or Multicolor instead of its own printing unit. Use "Calculate color values" of the color calculator to determine whether the resulting color deviations are acceptable and which print process is best suited for a job.

Use "3D spot color view" to visually compare the locations of spot colors from tables or with certain Lab values with the color gamut of an ICC profile. This makes it possible for you to analyze the printability of spot colors.

When replacing spot colors, you can place color strips with the spot colors on the press sheet in the Prinect PDF Toolbox. You can export the reference values of the spot colors for the Prinect Color Toolbox and open them there as a test chart. After you measured the color patches on the press sheet, a fast analysis of whether they can be replaced, e.g. with Multicolor, is possible in the Prinect Color Toolbox in the "Compare" tab.

In the PDF Toolbox, you can place control strips for spot colors on your PDF using Assemble Pages. When you create an analog control strip with the target values of the spot colors in the Color Toolbox, you can measure the printed result fast, allowing you to check how the spot colors are reproduced.

As of version 2019, you can create printable test charts from entire color tables in your Prinect system and export them at the same time to the Color Toolbox as a measurement template.
