You can add measurement data sets to a characteristic curve or remove them later. This is necessary, for example, if you want to assign a real production job or more test jobs to the characteristic curve.
Note: We recommend that you back up the settings before making any changes. See Create new backup.
Proceed as follows to edit an existing characteristic curve:
1.Go to the Characteristic Curve Editor.
2.In the "Characteristic curve" list box, select the characteristic curve you wish to edit.
The list will display all the measurement data sets that are suited for the characteristic curve due to their parameters.
3.To add/deselect a measurement data set, check/uncheck its checkbox in the "Select" column.
4.Click "Calculate Characteristic Curve".
The characteristic curve will be recalculated. You can compare the saved with the new values of the characteristic curve in the "New_Δ" and "Saved_Δ" columns. See Assess the Quality of a Characteristic Curve.
5.Click "Save Characteristic Curve" to save the settings.
