Note: This function is available only in Prinect Archiver Pro.
Process monitoring ("Status > Process Monitor") gives you an overview of the processes run in the Prinect Archive System client. You will find a list of the current processes of Prinect Archive System or those last completed, for example, synchronization or archiving of data with details about the time, kind and progress of the process.
The first column indicates the process status with an icon. See Message type/Process status icons.
Select a row in the table to view details about a process in the column on the right, divided into Runtime Information and Process Information.
Functions in process monitoring
Sorting
You can sort the process overview by each of the columns (except the "Status" column) in ascending or descending order. To do this, click the column header. A gray triangle displays beside the column header, displaying the sorting order (ascending/descending). Clicking the column header again reverses the sort order.
Table filters
You can confine the processes shown in the overview by using table filters. You can filter by Process Type, Status, Start Date, Finished Date, Category, and Job Number. You will find these in the filter section of the process monitor.
Enter the filter criteria for Process Type, Status and Category by enabling the relevant checkboxes. Multiple selection is possible.
If more than two criteria are selected, a tooltip with a list of the selected criteria displays when you position the mouse pointer over the list box.
Click "Search" to apply the filters and confine the overview accordingly. "Clear" resets the filters.
View details about processes
You can view more details about single processes. To do this, select "Details" in the context menu, "Functions > Details" in the main menu, or double-click the process about which you would like to view the details.
Details are shown only for processes controlled by the Prinect Integration Manager.
The edited files or folders are shown in "Details" in the "Process Details" dialog. The complete path of each file is shown as well as its processing status and a message about processing of the file.
"Messages" in the upper part of the dialog displays additional information about the processes, for example, the transfer rate.
Clicking "Previous" or "Next" lets you view the process details of the previous or the next process in the list.
Click the close icon "X" next to the tab name "Process Details" to close the window. You return to the dialog you started in.
