An import function (drag & drop) for csv-, txt-, xml-, xls- or xlsx-files is now available in the wizard.
The ganging wizard has two solutions:
•Sheetfed label without shape
•3D packaging boxes with shapes
1. Sheetfed labels without a shape specification
2. Labels or packaging with shapes
In both screens, a new functionality is implemented to allow adding items using a import file. This file can be a csv-file (the field delimiter is: ';' and not ',') or an Excel file. It can also be a plain text file (delimiter is '|') or an XML file. The layout of this file will be described later.
There are 2 ways to start the file import:
1. Use the new button (1) on the left side.
A dialog will appear where the user can navigate to a directory with the import file. The file has to be selected and the "Open" button must be pushed to start the import.
2. Drag and drop a file in the grid.
Open the file explorer to find the file and drag it into the field.
The checking of the import data
1. If the grid already contains records, message box will appear.
2. The file is checked on some mandatory columns. If columns are missing, another message box will appear.
