The first thing you do is define the print conditions (colors, printing speed, and screen system). Set the parameters you want and then click "Next".

Colors
This is where you select which colors will be printed. Besides CMYK, you can also create Multicolor profiles with orange+green+violet and in addition digital white varnish. In the case of digital white, a difference is made whether printing will be with high opacity or high speed. These two modes differ with regard to drop encoding. Digital white can only be printed at the default printing speed. Therefore, "High Performance 70 m/min" cannot be selected when digital white is enabled.
As varnish, you can choose a water-based or a UV-hardening varnish.

Printing Speed
Here you can choose between the standard printing speed (up to 50 m/min, adjustable at the HMI) and an increased printing speed of 70 m/min, provided that your press has been set for high performance mode and has been activated by a service engineer.
At the moment, the high-performance mode and the printing of digital white cannot yet be used together. Therefore, only one of the two properties can be enabled at a time.
In High Performance mode, printing is done with different drop sizes. Therefore, a separate output condition is required for this mode.
In the High Performance mode, the value for the maximum ink limit of each ink is set lower than for the default printing speed.

If UV02 ink is used, "High gamut 38 m/min" is available as an additional mode. Compared to the standard mode, this mode offers a wider gamut size. In return, the print speed is limited to 38 m/min.

Standard screen and standard process curve set
We recommend using the standard screen system and the standard process curve set when calculating the output condition. However, you can disable this option if you wish to use a different screen system or process curve set. You can then select the screen system and process curve set from a list.
