Configuring operations (PDC messages) on the Data Terminal

Report: material consumption, Report: notes, and Report: produced quantity

These options only affect operations (PDC messages) used on the Data Terminal.

This option is only relevant for Data Terminal in the "Time" mode.

With these options enabled, the additional input boxes "Good sheets" and "Waste sheets" appear as shown above when the operation is actuated at the Data Terminal.

With these options enabled, a dialog where you can type notes opens additionally when the operation is actuated at the Data Terminal.

Default setup operation selection option

Enable the option if this operation is to be available in the "Start operation" dialog when loading the operation.

Required

If you enable this option, this operation (PDC message) is automatically assigned to each device that you create. You cannot withdraw this operation from the devices. These operations are in the "Requi­red operations" section.

Actions

This is where you must assign an already defined action to the operation (PDC message). This is only necessary when you work with the electronic time sheet (you need a license for this). See Actions for a detailed description of the actions.

Regular amount/Regular unit

This is where you can determine the amount/unit displayed in the time sheet for the operation (PDC message) after it is entered there. For example "Change the plate for 4 printing units": The time sheet column "Quantity/Unit" automatically displays four plates (4 Parts) when this operation has been captured.

This is only necessary when you work with the electronic time sheet (you need a license for this).
