System behavior

General notes

IconNote.jpg

Note: A new job is usually only generated if the job number (which is specified in the JDF/JMF file) has not yet been created in the Prinect Pressroom Manager/Prinect Integration Manager.

Note: For the PPF import, define a target directory ("Hotfolder") (see the PPF Input Directory) to which a sequence will be assigned. The sheet from the PPF file, which has been imported via this target directory, is then processed via this sequence in the Prinect Pressroom Manager/Prinect Integration Manager.

Caution: Assigned sequence is not replaced. If the sheet already exists in the job and was already assigned to a sequence, this sequence - in contrast to the previous version of the Prinect Pressroom Manager/Prinect Integration Manager - is preserved. In the previous versions of the Prinect Pressroom Manager/Prinect Integration Manager, the sequence of the target directory ("Hotfolder") was always used.
