Example of TIFF Workflow and Page Approval
Except for the variations described below, proceed as in the PDF page approval workflow. See Example: PDF Workflow and Page Approval.
Deviations:
Prinect Cockpit: Create PageProof sequence
The parameters for the PageProof sequence are almost identical to those of the SendAssembledPDF sequence in Example 1, see SendAssembledPDF Sequence .
Deviations:
•The "Combine Documents" step doesn't exist. An Acceptance Form is also not needed.
•"Rendering" work step: "Proof Color Management" must be disabled.
•"Remote Approval" work step: Select the approval tool you want, for example "Web Approval".
1.Click the link in the notification e-mail.
The Pixel Proof Viewer opens automatically, displaying all the TIFF pages.
2.Click "Approval". The "Approval" dialog displays.
·"Status": Select "Approval".
·Type an approval comment if necessary.
·By default, the Pixel Proof Viewer shows all the pages as single pages. Now select "Approve all pages".
·Click "OK + Close".
·Because you did not open or view all the pages, you will now see a warning that you will confirm with "Yes". After that, all the pages are approved and the Pixel Proof Viewer closes.
You can view the approved pages in the "Pages/Page Approvals" tab.
(An e-mail informs the production shop (internal users) automatically about the approved pages. In the Prinect Cockpit at the place indicated below, you can set whether an e-mail will be sent for each page (option not set) or whether the e-mails will be collected over a certain period of time: "Administration > Settings > Remote Access > Approve".)
3.Click "Refresh" below. The customer approval icon next to the pages changes:

After approval

Prinect Cockpit: Finish the Job after Customer Approval
Proceed exactly as described in Prinect Cockpit: Finish the Job after Customer Approval .
Deviation:
The customer approval comment for TIFF data is made up as follows:
•User name + date.
•The "comment" that you may have entered in the "Approval" dialog in the Pixel Proof Viewer.
•Published notes that you may have added to your TIFF document.
