Print Time Sheet on the Machine
Your staff have the option of printing the time sheet of the last shift directly from the machine. You can use this as a reliable data basis for job costing and an employee-related track record.
Analog to Analyze Point, the time sheet shows you all manually and automatically recorded actions of an employee.
You need the "Analyze Point Base" license to be able to print a time sheet on the machine.
You can print the time sheet using the following devices:
•Prinect Press Center
•Prinect CP2000 Center
•Prinect Data Terminal with or without counter box
•Integrated Prinect Data Terminal for online finishing machines
Configuration for Prinect Press Center/Prinect CP2000 Center Devices
To print the time sheet on the Prinect Press Center/Prinect CP2000 Center, you must define a number of settings when setting up the device.
1.In the Prinect Cockpit, go to "Administration > System" and select the computer name of the server.
2.In "CDM" select the device on which you want to print the time sheet.
3.Select "Edit" in the context-sensitive menu.
The "Device assistant" opens.
4.Click "Next" until you are at "Assigning operations".
This is where you must assign the "Print Time Sheet" operation to the machine. By default, the operation is not assigned.
5.To do this, select the "Messages" operation group (1).
6.Assign the "Print Time Sheet" operation to the machine (2).
7.Click "Next" until you are at "Summary".
This is where you set up printing..
8.To do this, enable "Enable Print 'Pallet Sheet'" (1).
9.Select the printer on which the time sheet is to be printed (2).
For details about selecting a printer, see "Select Printer" list box
10.Select a template (3).
All templates automatically contain time sheet printing. This means that you can print a time sheet on the machine even if you select an accompanying papers template. Select "Daily Time Sheet Only" if you wish to print just time sheets.
Other settings in the Device Assistant are not required.
11.Close the dialog with "Finish".
Configuration for Prinect Data Terminal Devices
Unlike the Prinect Press Center/Prinect CP2000 Center, the "Print Time Sheet" operation is assigned by default to all Data Terminal devices. For that reason, you only have to assign a printer and a template to the device.
1.To do so, go to "Administration > Device configuration > Devices".
2.Select the Data Terminal device on which you want to print the time sheets.
3.Click "Open".
The dialog for selecting the printer and the template opens.
4.Activate the option "Enable Print" (1).
5.Select the printer on which the time sheet is to be printed (2).
For details about selecting a printer, see "Select Printer" list box
6.Select a template (3).
All templates automatically contain time sheet printing. This means that you can print a time sheet on the machine even if you select an accompanying papers template. Select "Daily Time Sheet Only" if you wish to print just time sheets.
7.Close the dialog with "OK".
For the Prinect Press Center/Prinect CP2000 Center, it is also possible for the time sheet of an employee to be printed automatically after logout. This helps you avoid employees forgetting to print their time sheets after their shift.
If the option is not enabled, employees can print their time sheet up to a maximum of four hours after their last logout. After four hours, a new shift starts automatically and all old data are overwritten. It is only possible to print the time sheet later than that in Analyze Point.
The option for printing is disabled by default. Proceed as follows to enable the option:
1.In the Prinect Cockpit, go to "Administration > System" and select the computer name of the server.
2.Scroll to "Central Device Manager" on the right.
3.Click "Properties".
The "Properties" dialog displays.
4.Enable "Print time sheet automatically on user logout".
5.Click "Apply".
The setting is active at once and sent to the Prinect Press Center/Prinect CP2000 Center.
Impact on Prinect Data Terminal
The option for printing of the time sheet does not affect the Prinect Data Terminal. On this terminal, it is always possible to print the time sheet of an employee more than four hours after his/her last logout.
Note: An employee who is logged out longer than four hours can then print the time sheet only in the "Login" window. When he/she logs in, a new shift starts automatically and all old data are overwritten.

Behavior of Time Sheet Printing for Several Machine Operators
It is possible for several operators to log in at the same time on a machine (press). An operator can log in either as a print job manager or as an assistant.
Below, we assume that a print job manager and an assistant are logged in to the press. The machine does not "know" which operator is doing which action if two print job managers are logged in. For this reason, all actions are booked automatically to the print job manager who was the last to log in.
A print job manager and assistant are logged in on the machine.
If a print job manager and an assistant are logged in on a machine (press), all messages are booked automatically to the print job manager by the machine. For the assistant, it is also possible to print a time sheet on which "Printing assistance" is recorded for the entire login period.
The following defaults are required to print the time sheet of the assistant:
1.In the device setup on the CDM, "Assistant" must be enabled in the general settings. This is the only way for an assistant to log in on the machine.
See General.
2."Print time sheet automatically on user logout" must be enabled in the system settings.
As a result, the time sheet is printed automatically when the assistant logs out of the machine. It is not possible to print a time sheet for the assistant using a manual PDC message. See also Printing the time sheet.
Prerequisite: The prerequisite for generation of the statistics is an online connection of the press to the Prinect Manager.
The statistics permit long-term observation of the good production, the totalizer reading and the plates used.
The statistics show the percentage ratio between good impressions and waste impressions, the totalizer progression of a press, and the number of printing plates produced. The statistics are displayed on a separate page for each press. The goal should always be to minimize the share of waste sheets.
The statistics offer the following options:
•Identification of presses with a large number of waste sheets.
Display on a year, month or day view (operation progression).
•Comparison of the impressions produced by several presses.
Display on a year, month or day view (operation progression) for one or all presses.
•Trend progression of the totalizer reading.
Display on a year or month view for one or all presses.
•Trend progression of the imaged printing plates.
Display on a year, month or day view (operation progression).
These statistics are available only if the "Prepress license" was activated for the Prinect Manager.
Arrow buttons
The statistics display on a separate page for each press. You can go to the statistics of the other presses using these buttons. The last page always shows the comparison between all presses.

How do I change to another view?
As already mentioned, you can have the statistics shown as a year, month or day view (operation progression). There are two ways to change the views:
•Using the hyperlink (1).
You have to use the hyperlink to change to a higher view (longer period of time), e. g. from month progression to year progression.
•By clicking in the diagram (2).
Click in the diagram (on a measured value) if you wish to change to a lower view (shorter period of time), e. g. from year progression to month progression.
