Displays the product names.

Layout

Displays the layout name.

Displays the layers.

Versions

In jobs with versioning, this displays the version name to which the sheets are assigned.

Version Descriptions

Displays the version descriptions in jobs with versioning (e.g. the different language versions).

Production Approval Status

Displays the production approval status. You can read the approval status from the symbols.

The following options are possible:

The yellow symbol indicates that the previous approval status is no longer valid because the page was modified.

Production Approval Comment

Displays any production approval comment entered in the "Approval of Selected Elements" Window.

Customer Approval Sta­tus

Displays the customer approval status. You can read the approval status from the symbols.

The following options are possible:

Customer Approval Comment

Displays any customer approval comment entered in the "Approval of Selected Elements" Window.

Gang Job

Displays the gang job name. You can open the gang job with a double click.

Layout in Gang Job

Displays the layout name on which the gang job will be produced.

Sheet in Gang Job

Displays the sheet name on which the gang job will be produced.

Status in Gang Job

Displays the processing state of each of the pages in the gang job.

Planned Amount

Displays the number of copies planned for production.

Page List

Displays the names of the assigned page lists.

Plate Size

Displays the width and height of the plate (only if pages were assigned).

Assigned Pages

Displays the names of the assigned pages.

Proof Layout

A layout can only be sent to a proofer if you set this option.

You can set the "Proof" option at the following points in the layout view:

Select the row with the layout name. Invoke the context-sensitive menu. Select "Properties" > "Properties" tab > "Proof Layout" option.

When you are creating a new layout interactively: "New" button > "New Layout" window > "Proof Layout" option.

When you are importing a layout: "Import Layout" button > "Select Layout" window > "Import Layout" window > "Proof Layout" option.

Preferences for

This shows the steps that the sheet has to run as icons (e.g. cutting, fold­ing, etc.). In other words, these are default steps for the sheet.

Work Style

This displays the type of work style (e.g. Sheetwise (front and back)).

Planned Waste

Displays the planned waste sheets entered in the properties.

Paper Size

Displays the width and height of the paper (printing material) (only if pages were assigned).

Assign Count

The numbers are red until assignment is complete.

Rows with signatures: Number of assignments per total number of signature positions.

Rows with front, back: Number of assignments per total number of posi­tions on front and back.

Page Colors/1up Colors

Displays the page colors/1up colors (CMYK and spot colors).

Page colors/1up colors are the colors that are really in the PDF file.

Target Colors

Displays the target colors (CMYK and spot colors).

Target colors are all colors that you wish to output.

You set the colors you wish to output in "Colors". This includes not only the colors in the document pages but also new colors you defined.

Inks

Displays the process colors (CMYK and spot colors).

Process colors or inks are all colors that are actually used for output.

Process colors differ from target colors in the following cases:

You defined a target color that is not found in any document. It cannot be output and, for that reason, doesn't appear in the "Process Colors" column.

You can set in Layouts that target colors will be ignored during output.
To do this, in the context-sensitive menu select "Properties" > "Colors" tab > "Target" column > "Ignore".

Mark Colors

Displays the marks colors (e.g. C, M, Y, K and any spot colors).

Placement rule for assigned pages

This item shows you how the placement rule for assigned pages was defined at Prinect Signa Station.

You can find the following items:

"Automatic": The trimmed size is aligned at the bottom left corner of the trim box.

"Center": There is no trimming. The page content is centered on the trimmed size.

"Custom": There is no trimming. The page content is offset in X/Y direction compared to the trimmed size.

Modification Date

Displays the date and time of the last change.

Creation date

Displays the date the layout was created on.

Plate Code

Displays the plate code.

Note: The plate code is a kind of checksum where certain properties are grouped to a code. The proof code and the plate code must be identical. If not, the user will be issued a warning.

Proof Code

Displays the proof code.

Note: The proof code is a kind of checksum where certain properties are grouped to a code. The proof code and the plate code must be identical. If not, the user will be issued a warning.

Plate Date

Displays the date when the job was last sent to the platesetter.

Proof Date

Displays the date when the job was last sent to the proofer.

Proof Status

Displays the proof status as an icon, for example, whether there is a proof or not.

Paper Availability

Displays information about the availability of the paper needed (see also the "Paper Availability" Window).

Paper

Displays the paper name (if a paper is assigned).

Comment

Displays any internal comment.

Sheet Description

Displays the sheet name provided by the Prinect Business Manager (the sheet name is automatically assigned a consecutive number in the Prinect Business Manager).

Banner

Displays which identification slip (banner) will be used.

Banners are used for displaying modifications and identifying the printed content. Identification can be through simple text or a barcode. Lead-in identification and lead-out identification are possible. The following ban­ners are available:

Job Banner
Banner that is printed at the start (and end) of the whole job with an identifying text and/or barcode.

Diecut Banner
Banner that is printed at the start (and end) of the whole job with the cutting die and cutting die ID but without content. The diecut banner is used to set up the diecutter for the job.

Segment Banner
Banner that is printed at the start (and end) of a row to identify the article. This contains, for example, the article ID with delivery quan­tity, etc.

Source Job Number

Displays the number of the job (source) from which the page was copied.

Place the mouse pointer on the source job number and wait for it to turn into a "hand". Then open the source job with a double click.

Shape IDs

Displays the shape IDs.

Shape Names

Displays the shape names.

Tool IDs

Displays the tool IDs.

Article Numbers

Displays the article numbers.

1up

This shows the number of 1ups.

Proof Status

Displays the progress of the proof status.

Plate status

Displays the progress of the plate status.

Print Status

Displays the progress of printing.

Article Names

Displays the article names.
