You can reserve single machines in the planning board. Reservations are not seen as operations on the machine but are designed to keep periods free that will not be used for production, e.g. for servicing.
Prerequisite: You can use "Machine Reservation" in the context menu only if the system is enabled for scheduling with the "Lock/enable" button (see "Lock/enable" button (5)).
Proceed as follows to reserve a machine:
1.Go to "Daily view" (recommended), "Weekly view" or "Overall view" in the planning board.
2.In "Machines" in the "Machines" and "Color Schemes" section, mark the machine that will be reserved and select "Machine reservation" in the context-sensitive menu in the planning board.
3.In the "Machine reservation" dialog, set the reservation period and, if necessary, repeat modes (see "Machine Reservation" dialog)
4.Confirm the dialog with "OK".
