Sequence Templates - Export/Import - Archiving
The "JobExport" sequence template lets you save all the data that are relevant for a print job like PDF documents, processing files, etc. as a ZIP archive outside the Prinect workflow. You can use these ZIP files, for example, to send jobs to another Prinect workflow system. You can import exported jobs to a Prinect Manager for rehandling or further processing there using the "JobImport" and "AutomaticJobImport" sequences.
Note: The "JobExport" functionality is not designed for archiving jobs.
During the export, all the files in the job folder will be "parceled" to an export ZIP archive, with the option of excluding high-resolution image files. High-resolution image files that are not filed in the job folder will not be included in the export archive. Input documents like PDF or PostScript files are still exported to the ZIP archive even if they are located outside the job folder. After an import, these files are then transferred to the new job folder.
