Setting Up and Configuring Machines with the Device Assistant

In the Prinect workflow, presses – with the exception of Versafire digital presses – are managed in the "Central Device Manager" (CDM). A "Device Assistant" is used to connect new devices or to reconfigure devices that have already been set up. You can use the Device Assistant to set up or configure machines of different device classes (offset presses, digital presses, cutters, etc.) for connection to the Prinect workflow.

You can use the Device Assistant for the following tasks:
