How do I establish a connection between Prinect Integration and Prinect Press Center?
A connection to Prinect Press Center must be established so that Prinect Production can send the job data to the press. In order to ensure that this connection is clearly defined, a unique "Workplace ID" is assigned to each press, both in the Prinect Press Center and in the Central Device Manager (CDM) of the Prinect Cockpit.
Note: The following section describes how to connect a Prinect Press Center press online.
1.In the Prinect Cockpit, create a new "CDM device" in the "Administration > System" view in the "CDM" (Central Device Manager) area. To do this, start the Device Assistant. See Creating a New Device with the Device Assistant.
2.Configure the "Workplace Interface" data storage on the Prinect Press Center. See Configure the "Workplace Interface" data storage in the Prinect Press Center.
