Pending and Finished Print Jobs

This window is divided into two sections:

"Pending Print Jobs" at the top displays the print jobs that were already submitted to the press but whose printing has not yet started.

"Finished Print Jobs" at the bottom displays the print jobs that were already printed.

"Pending Print Jobs"

This list shows all the print jobs that were submitted to the press,

either automatically. See Automatic output mode.

Or manually. See Submit jobs manually.

Currently processed jobs are locked

If a print job was submitted to its designated press and is being processed there, it is locked in the Digital Printing Terminal. This status is tagged by an icon ("padlock") in the "Job Information" column.

IconNoteNote: This feature is currently only available for Labelfire presses.

Button bar above the "Pending Print Jobs" list

IconPrerequisitePrerequisite: These buttons are available for toner-based digital presses (Versafire). The "Cancel" button is also available for Labelfire presses.

You can edit print jobs in this list using the control buttons above the list. You can apply these functions to one or more jobs marked in the list.

b_digi_terminal_start

Continue processing of the job.

b_digi_terminal_urgent

Print the marked job immediately:

The job is given the highest priority status. This means that it will be printed immediately if possible, or as soon as possible after the current print job is finished printing.

b_digi_terminal_pause

Pause the marked job.

If a job is currently being printed, it is paused, for example, to reload paper.

b_digi_terminal_cancel

Cancel processing of the job.

Processing of the job is aborted. This means that it will not be printed or a running print process is canceled. The item for this job is moved to the "Finished Jobs" list. You can delete or print the job there. See "Finished Jobs".

IconNoteNote: You cannot edit the jobs in the "pending print jobs" list using drag-and-drop. Also, you can no longer edit the order of printing. The order is defined by the priority set during submitting or, if jobs have the same priority, by the time they were added to this list.

You can edit the displayed columns in the same way as in the "Waiting Print Jobs" list. See Columns in the "Waiting Print Jobs" and "Pending and Finished Print Jobs" lists.

"Finished Jobs"

This list shows all print jobs that meet the following criteria:

Printing of the job is finished

Printing was canceled because of an error during printing

Printing was canceled manually

By default, the order in the list is determined by the time the job was finished, with the job that is finished last always at the top of the list. If need be, the list can be resorted by various criteria.

You can edit the displayed columns in the same way as in the "Waiting Print Jobs" list. See Columns in the "Waiting Print Jobs" and "Pending and Finished Print Jobs" lists.

Button bar above the "Finished Print Jobs" list

You can edit print jobs in this list using the control buttons above the list. You can apply these functions to one or more jobs marked in the list.

b_digi_terminal_start

Continue processing of the job.

b_digi_terminal_start_settings

Start with settings: The "Start with Settings" dialog opens when you click this button. See "Start with Settings" window.

This is where you can define output options that may differ from the parameters set in the "Submit" dialog in the "Digital Printing" step. Confirm your settings by clicking "OK", and the job is output.

b_digi_terminal_waste

Delete the marked job(s).

IconDangerInjuryCaution: The marked jobs are deleted immediately (without any query)! To reprint a job that was deleted inadvertently, you must submit it again in the "Digital Printing" step.
