This window opens if one or more jobs were marked and you selected "Delete" in the context menu. All the selected jobs or job groups display in a list. Before the command runs, you can still exclude single jobs or job groups from deletion in the "Delete Jobs" column by removing the checkmark.
"Details" column
In this column, important notes are displayed, for example, indicating whether a selected job is a gang job or an archived job.
If job groups are present, they can also be deleted. Then all jobs that are in the respective group will also be deleted. This also applies to archived job groups.
"Remove all empty groups after job deletion" option
Prerequisite: This function is available only if at least one job group was marked for deletion.
Empty job groups are removed after deletion if this option is enabled. All job groups that are not empty are kept.
Note: If you cannot delete (error message), the output folder may be open in the file system (Windows Explorer). Close the Explorer window and repeat deletion.
In addition to current orders, archived orders can also be deleted. Since the archiving process in Prinect Production has now been changed, different information about the archived jobs is displayed in the "Delete Jobs" window, depending on which method was used to archive the respective jobs:
•Delete jobs with new archiving:
In the "Details" column, a message "This job is archived!" is displayed for each job archived using the new procedure.
Additionally, an informational message "At least one job is archived!" is displayed above the job list.
•Deleting jobs using the new archiving procedure and/or the previous archiving procedure:
In the "Details" column, a message "This job is archived!" is displayed for each job archived using the new procedure.
Additionally, an informational message "At least one job is archived!" is displayed above the job list.
In the "Details" column, a message "This job is archived with the old archive system and will be purged!" is displayed for each job archived using the previous procedure.
Additionally, a warning message "At least one job is archived with the old archive system!!" is displayed above the job list.
“Select all archived jobs” option
All archived jobs will be selected for deletion.
If gang jobs are to be deleted, a warning message will be displayed in both the "Details" column and the notes area above the job list:
"This job is a gang job!" or "At least one job is a gang job."
"Decompose a gang layout" option
The gang layout is decomposed and the component jobs contained in the gang job are copied back to the gang pool if you enable this option. The option is enabled by default.
“Select all gang jobs” option
All gang jobs will be selected for deletion.
If you confirm the settings with "OK", the deletion actions will be executed and the "Delete jobs" dialog will be closed.
