Privacy Policy | Imprint | Prinect Know How | Prinect Release Notes In this section, you can perform the following actions: •select the currently open job for possible reuse, •set the due date and the earliest start date, •view or change the job priority, •enter or change the quantity ordered and the number of planned pages, •select a job by its job number, open it and transfer existing settings and data (documents, pages, page lists, layouts, sequences, etc.) to a new job, •view and delete the job numbers of the sources for a gang run job or open the source jobs, •view and open the target job numbers for a gang run job, •view the target sheets for a gang run job. "Set Due Date" option If this option is enabled, the corresponding calendar field is enabled for editing. You can enter a due date (date and time) here or extend or shorten the deadline by clicking the small arrow buttons. Button Function Set Due Date A calendar window will open to set the date; see also "Choose Date" Window. "Earliest start date" option If this option is enabled, the corresponding calendar dialog is enabled for editing. You can enter the start date (date and time) for job processing or extend or shorten the deadline by clicking the small arrow buttons. Button Function Earliest start date A calendar window will open to set the date; see also "Choose Date" Window. "Job type" list box The default setting is the job type of the currently open job. You can change the selection type by selecting a different one. If the job was created using the "Job from template" function, the job type is taken from the template. This detail also displays as a column in the job list. In addition, you can filter by this criterion. "Job priority" list box Here you can assign a priority (urgent, high, normal or low) to the job. The priority affects the order in which the job is processed. Delivery quantity You can enter the quantity ordered (the total number of printed copies) directly or increase or decrease the displayed value by one by clicking on the small arrow buttons. Planned Pages/Articles You can enter the number of planned pages/articles directly or increase or decrease the displayed value by one by clicking on the small arrow buttons. Project ID This is where you enter the project number (if available). Responsible The name of the Cockpit operator responsible for the production of this job is entered here. This is the operator who will receive e-mail notifications in the event of an error, for example. Button Function Select The "Copy from Related Job" window opens. In this window, you can select the Cockpit user in charge from a related job, for example. See "Copy from Related Job" Window. Related Job If the job was derived from a related job, the corresponding related job is displayed here. Button Function Open The selected related job is opened. Change You wish to change the previous related job and replace it with another related job. To find another related job, the "Find job" window is opened. See Search function. Here you can select the desired related job whose settings you want to copy. Delete The job number of the related job in the "Related job number" box is deleted. Apply The "Copy from Related Job" window opens. See "Copy from Related Job" Window. Here you can select the parameters to be copied from the selected related job. Status of Copying Data from Related Job If data is copied from a related job to the currently open job, the transfer status is indicated by a symbol. A tooltip also displays further information. Gang Job Source IDs The job IDs of the source jobs for the current gang job are displayed here. Button Function Open The selected source job is opened. Remove The job ID of the source job is removed from the gang job. The information about the source job from which the pages of the gang job originate is also deleted. The pages from the source job themselves remain in the job. Gang Job Target IDs The "Target IDs" are the job IDs of the jobs that are to be produced as gang jobs. Button Function Open The selected target gang job is opened. Gang Job Target Sheets The names of the layout sheets intended for the production of the target gang job are displayed next to the names of the source jobs for the gang job. Internal Comments Here you can enter, change or view a comment – e.g. on the product of the gang job. This comment also displays in "Internal Comments" in the "Product Description" section. External Comments External comments are transmitted by the MIS or they were written as job notes. See "Job Notes" View. These comments cannot be deleted or changed.
