Privacy Policy | Imprint | Prinect Know How | Prinect Release Notes Creating a repeat job in Prinect Integration with an MIS (Prinect Business) connected The repeat job is generated by the MIS (Prinect Business) and imported into Prinect Integration. The previous job was already produced and the press presets saved. The JDF PPF workflow was configured so that the job starts automatically in the Prinect Integration. There are two ways to transfer the print presets to the repeat job: •The press presets are to be copied automatically •The press presets are to be copied manually The press presets are to be copied automatically •JDF import for automatic use of the press presets must be configured in integration Manager. At this point, we will describe only the configuration for copying the press presets automatically. You can find a detailed description on how to configure the JDF import in section Mixed PPF / JDF workflow with MIS and external prepress system. •A repeat job must be created and a JDF file must be generated in Prinect Business. The repeat job will then be automatically imported into Prinect Integration. 1.In Prinect Cockpit, go to "Administration > JDF Import" and there to the "Related Job" tab: 2.Enable the "Related Job" option. Only when you set this will the press presets be copied automatically. 3.Enable the "Press Presets" option. 4.Click "Save". Close the "JDF Import" section by clicking "Overview". You must now generate the repeat job in Prinect Business. To do this, you must copy the predecessor job to a new job. 5.Invoke "File > Copy job > To new job" in Business Manager. The "Copy job to job" dialog opens. 6.Enter a new job name in "Description" (1). 7.Select "Repeat job without changes" in the "Type of production" list box (2). 8.Click "Next>>". 9.Close the dialog with "Finish". You must now send the repeat job to Integration Manager. 10.To do this, click the "JDF creation and sending" button. 11.Click "Finish". The job is now sent to Integration Manager. 12.In Prinect Cockpit, go to "Jobs". The following icon marks the job as a repeat job with inherited data in the job list: The press presets are to be copied manually •In Prinect Cockpit, the settings for the manual transfer of the print presets are configured in the settings for the JDF import. At this point, we will describe only the configuration for copying the press presets manually. The repeat job will then be automatically imported into the Prinect Workflow. At this time, no press presets were copied yet. 13.Click the repeat job in the job list to open it. 14.Go to the "Properties" area (1). 15.Click "Apply" (2). The "Copy from Related Job" window opens. 16.Enable the "Press Presets" option (3). 17.Confirm with "OK". If data transfer was successful, the "Apply" button is now dimmed.
