Privacy Policy | Imprint | Prinect Know How | Prinect Release Notes Create a repeat job in Prinect Cockpit without an MIS being connected If there is no MIS in the system environment, the repeat job needs to be created manually in Cockpit. For this purpose, you must follow the steps below in Cockpit: •A new job is created as a repeat job from the existing job. •You must define which data is to be accepted in the repeat job from the previous job. Proceed as follows: 1.In Cockpit, go to "Jobs". 2.In the job list, select the job that you wish to use as a template for the repeat job. 3.Select "New > Job from Template" in the context menu. The "Create new job based on selected job" window opens. 4.Type the job number you want for the new job (1). Job numbers must be unique within the Prinect system environment. If you enter a job number that already exists, the entered job number will be marked in the color "red". You must then enter a unique job number. 5.Type a job name (2). 6.If necessary, change the job home in which the new job is to be saved (3). Click "Browse" to select the job home in the file system. If you do not select another job home, the new job will be saved in the job home in which the previous job is located. 7.Make sure all the options inside the box in the screenshot (4) are disabled. The data to be accepted from the previous job is defined later. 8.Enable "Start Job" and "Maximize Job View" (5). When these options are enabled, the new job is opened and started immediately after finishing. This allows you to immediately specify which data is to be transferred from the previous job to the newly created repeat job. 9.Click "Next" (6). The "Customer Data" view opens: 10.The "Take Customer Data from Job Template" option is enabled by default. Disable this option if the repeat job is not to be produced for the same customer. In this case, select a customer in the "Customer Name" list box. The prerequisite is that the customer in question has been added to the Prinect customer administration. See also Customers. 11.Click "Next". The "Scheduling" view opens: 12.Enable the "Set Due Date" option and then enter a due date (2) or choose the due date in the Calendar dialog. Only jobs for which a due date was defined display in the Scheduler. 13.Click "Finish". The newly created repeat job opens after a brief period. 14.Go to the "Properties" area (1). The "Related Job" box displays the job number of the predecessor job (2). 15.Click "Apply" (3). The "Copy from Related Job" window opens: 16.Select the data that is to be accepted from the previous job. If data transfer was successful, the "Apply" button is now dimmed. 18.Click "Close Job". Job processing in the Prinect workflow can now be started.
