"Generation of inspection data" Option

Prerequisite: An Inline inspection system must be available on the press in order for this option to display in an ImpositionOutput sequence template, and the respective license must be enabled.

This option enables the merging of color separations of a print job into a composite reference image (PNG format) that the Inline Color Inspection System can use to check colors.

In order for these reference images to be used by the inline color measurement system on the press, the “Generation of inspection data" option must be enabled and parameterized in the SheetfedPrinting sequence used. The reference images and, if necessary, additional inspection level files are then forwarded to the Press Center of the printing press. See "Generation of inspection data" option.
