Privacy Policy | Imprint | Prinect Know How | Prinect Release Notes In this context, "plate processing" refers to a process that depicts the processing of printing plates after imaging, e.g. developing, trimming, quality control, up to stacking on the plate cart. An external plate sorter sends the required information to Prinect Production. This means that this option is intended solely for use when a suitably equipped plate sorter is used in conjunction with the Plate Pilot. When the "Plate Processing" option is enabled, the imaged plates will be marked as "finished" only when the "plate processing" process of the Plate Pilot is completed. As long as this is not the case, the plates are marked as "imaged" after imaging. As a result, "Needs Adaption" displays in the job view as long as the "plate processing" process is not reported as "finished" by the plate sorter. In the Plate Pilot widget, the status bar accordingly has dashed lines.
