"Prepare" Sequence Template

The PDF documents are prepared for further processing or for output in the Prepare sequence.

Depending on the configuration of your Prinect Production system, you can set up the following steps in the Prepare sequence:

​•​"Transparency Handling" Option

​•​"Object Screening" option

​•​"External PDF Processing" Option

​•​"Versioning" Option

​•​"Preflight" Option

​•​"Page Approval" Option

​•​"Ganging" option

​•​"Destination" Option

Note: The "PrepareBW" sequence template installed by default is configured so as to generate pure black-and-white outputs (K separations only) out of any colored or grayscale/black-and-white contents. Apart from the settings for color conversion, you can modify other options in this template and save the template under a different name. Warnings are issued if other separations than K are found at the end of processing.
