“File Output" option

This option displays automatically and is enabled or does not display depending on the output processor you selected ("on" list box). This group displays only if you select a proof processor that does not output to paper or to an imagesetter but writes to a file. The following proof processors with output to a file are available in the PageProof sequence:

​•​JPEG Export

The name of the JPEG export soft proofer is defined in the Proofing Engine Manager.

​•​PDF Export

The name of the PDF export soft proofer is defined in the Proofing Engine Manager.

​•​SoftProof Printer

​•​TIFF Export

The name of the TIFF export soft proofer is defined in the Proofing Engine Manager.

"MIME Type" box

The "MIME Type" (Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions) box shows the format of the output files. The MIME type depends on which soft proofer is selected.
