"Assign Layout" Window"

You can only use the "Assign layout" function if the job contains product parts or is configured for versioning. You can only open the window via a context menu command if at least one product part is selected.

The product parts in the job are displayed with the associated layouts. If you select a layout and click "OK", the layout is assigned to the product part.

"Create New Page List" option

If this option is enabled, the "Page list name" box becomes editable and a new page list is created for the assigned layout, which contains exactly one page placeholder for each page position defined in the assigned layout.

If this option is not enabled, a page list is not generated for the assigned layout.

You can enter a name for the page list in this box.

Note: The name of the selected layout is entered here by default. You can change this name by entering a different name.
