"Edit Scheduling" Window

You can open this window by selecting at least one layout or one sheet and then selecting "Edit Scheduling" from the context menu.

IconPrerequisitePrerequisite: You can only open this window if you have assigned a subsequent sequence to the layout.

The assigned sequences are displayed in the left-hand area. Select the sequence with which the selected elements are to be edited.

In the right-hand area of the window, you can select the date on which the processing with the selected sequence is to start. You can choose between the following options for this scheduling:

Do Not Start Before

The layouts are not submitted before the entered date. When the date is reached, the layouts are automatically submitted to the selected sequence, provided that a suitable sequence is available. The layouts are then processed with this sequence

Planned Start

Here you can plan the start date for processing. Processing will start as soon as the processing sequence is available from the planned date. The definition of the start date affects the sorting in the queue. Jobs with a planned start date earlier than the start date of other jobs are processed first.

Latest Completion

Here you define the latest completion date for this step. You must ensure that processing is completed before this date in any case. The definition of the latest completion date also affects sorting in the queue view. Jobs whose (planned) latest completion date is earlier than the completion date of other jobs are processed first

Set start date

For each scheduling option, you can set the start date by entering a date and time or by clicking on the small arrow buttons to increase or decrease the value of the number. You can also select the date in a "calendar view" by clicking on the adjacent button. A calendar window will then open. See also "Choose Date" Window.

The following applies to all dates:

Dates in the future are displayed in black. Dates that have already passed are displayed in red.

Dates entered are displayed in the layout view, in the column of the sequence to which the date refers.

IconNoteNote: If several dates have been entered, the "Do not start before" date takes precedence over the other dates.
