The Navigation pane displays the computers available in the system:
| Computer: This is where you can click each of the computers registered to the PMC to show corresponding details in the Detail area. |
Depending on the (hardware and software) configuration of the computers connected to the PMC, these computers may contain different inventory items. Information may be available on the following types of inventory items:
Backup | Information about the Prinect backup state and backup logs. |
Database | Information about the installed Prinect databases (Microsoft SQL). The following items are available: •Database Version (standard or express edition) of the database, current state of the individual database modules •Backup List of database backups performed, success status of backups •Database Content Status of the database content |
Digital Presses | Information about digital presses that are connected to the Prinect workflow. |
Hardware | Information about the computer's hardware and any additional hardware (for example printer). |
Installation History | Information about previously performed Prinect installations and updates on the computer. |
Network | Information about the network parameters of the computer, network hardware, statistical network information, information about the TCP and UDP ports. |
Software | Information about the installed software products and the versions. There may be the following software areas: •HEIDELBERG Products All HEIDELBERG Prinect software products. Information about installation date, basic version, current version. If a current version is not available for a product, it cannot be updated by the PMC at present. Double-click an item in the table to go directly to its installation history. In this case, the product name is used as a filter and consequently only items relating to the product display. •HEIDELBERG Hotfix status Prinect Production Servers can receive hotfixes for the Prinect software. In this case, corresponding entries are shown here. •Other products All non-HEIDELBERG software products are listed here. |
System | Information about the computer's operating system and environment variables. The exact system version (for example 22H2) of Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating systems is displayed. |
You can switch between inventory items with the context menu of a computer in the Navigation Pane or by clicking the lower tabs in the detail area:
Note: Opening an inventory page will request the client to send current information. This will usually change the content within one minute. The information retrieval time displays in the header of the tab (Date/time of data).
