"Quick Offset" |
With the "Quick Offset" mode, you can duplicate objects with a mouse click and insert them at a specified offset.
The following edit bar belongs to the mode:

"Continuous" Makes joins between the previous and the current offset. 1.Click this button. 2.Click on the object that is to be moved. The offset object turns yellow. 3.The next offset automatically connects to the yellow object. This continues continuously. |

"First Object" (only if "Continuous" is enabled) 1.Click this button. 2.Then click an object. It will turn yellow. 3.The next offset you perform will be linked to this object. 4.Repeat this procedure to perform another offset. |

"Last Object" (only if "Continuous" is enabled) 1.Click this button if you have chosen "First Object". 2.Then click another object. It will also turn yellow. 3.The next offset you perform will be linked to the "first" and the "last" object. 4.Repeat this procedure to perform another offset. |

Drawing a Quick Offset
1.Click the "Quick Offset" button.

2.Enter the desired numeric value (distance in the set unit of measure to the original) in the "Offset" box in the edit bar.
3.Move the mouse pointer closely above the original object. A preview of the duplicate position is shown. Slightly changing the position of the mouse pointer decides on which side duplication will be.
4.The function is implemented by a single click. The duplicated object is a separate geometric object of the type selected (usually of the same type as the original object).
5.Press "Esc" to quit the mode.
