Change Job Order

You can customize the job order by changing the order of the jobs in the list or by assigning different priorities in the Incoming Job List.

Rearrange with drag-and-drop or with buttons

In the list of active jobs, you can change the processing order of "waiting" jobs, for example, to give priority to urgent jobs.

To do this, enable "Customize Job Order".

The value set in the "Order" column is decisive for the real job order. When required, sort the list by clicking the "Order" column. The lower the value in the "Order" column, the sooner the job will be output.

Note: Prinect Shooter doesn't absolutely have to keep to the customized order, for example, if a plate status is 'preload' in the output device.

You can rearrange jobs by dragging-and-dropping them or by using the appropriate buttons. See Buttons for Job Processing.

To move by drag-and-drop, select one or more items in the list of active jobs. Holding down the left mouse button, drag them to the position you want and drop them by letting go of the left mouse button. The jobs that you drag-and-drop are sorted above the job that you indicated with the mouse pointer. In a sorted serial output, this is the position above the first separation of this job.

In this way, you can place single jobs at any position you want. If a job is currently being processed, you can place the selected jobs only below this job.

Rearrange by changing the priority

You can manipulate the job order by marking one or more jobs in the Incoming Job List and selecting "Urgent", "High", "Medium" or "Low" as the "Priority" in the context menu.

Print "Urgent" jobs next

You can give "Urgent" priority to jobs to mark that they are to be processed immediately. Do this by marking one or more jobs in the Incoming Job List and selecting "Urgent" as the "Priority" in the context-sensitive menu. The urgent jobs are placed at the top of the list of active jobs if another job is not currently being processed. If this is the case, the selected jobs are placed directly below the job currently being processed.

Note: The options described here for preferential output of urgent jobs are only possible if "Urgent" is set as the priority. They are not possible with "High". The "Low", "Medium" and "High" priorities only control the order of the jobs in the print queues without interrupting any running jobs and without the option of placing a job right away at the top of the queue.

In principle, imaging of a plate, once running, is not stopped. This also applies to Prinect Shooter.

Jobs currently in process that consist of several separations (plates) can be interrupted by jobs marked as "urgent". In this case, imaging of a plate that is currently running continues until it is finished. The next plate to be imaged is the first plate of the job marked as "urgent". The second plate of this job is then imaged and so on. Imaging of the original job resumes after output of the entire job marked as "urgent" is finished.
