The graphic view has five tabs showing you five different views of the job currently selected.
The names in the tab bar now automatically match the open job. For example, if a packaging job is open, the names of the tabs change accordingly. This makes it easy for you to see in the graphic window what type if job is active:
Job: Imposition
Job: Montage
Job: Packaging
The graphic view changes according to the tab you selected ("Press Sheet", "Folding Sheet/Assembly Block/Cutting Die" "Page List/1up List" "Press Sheet List" and "Document"), allowing you to check and edit the selected job.
To edit a job, you can open an inspector in the inspectors window in each tab using the context-sensitive menu or with a double-click in the graphic view. The inspector that opens depends on the tab you are in.
A change in the inspectors window is also seen in the graphic window.
You can drag-and-drop elements from the "Contents" step and list window to the graphic window and place marks from the Press Sheet / Folding Sheet / Page Inspectors to the graphic window. Dragging-and-dropping to the graphic window is an elementary step in the workflow. You can find more details about drag-and-drop in Drag-and-Drop.
Each of the tabs has practical graphic tools. More details can be found in Graphic Tools .
On the pages which follow, you will learn how to handle the graphic tools and about the wide range of functions that you can use in each tab.
