Keyboard

Function

Command key + A

Select all files/pages in lists.

Command key + click

Add/deselect single files/pages in lists.

Shift key + click

Select blocks of files/pages in lists.

Click on small arrows on borders between the four basic windows

The window is minimized or maximized in length (up arrow) or in width (right arrow).

Click the opposite arrow to return to the standard size.

This lets you make the four basic windows bigger for a short period or hide them depending on what you need.

Click hatch of a window border, move holding down mouse button

The window is made bigger or smaller manually.

Workflow bar

The following keyboard shortcut can be swapped, see Use Command Key + Spacebar for Zoom for details.

Go back to the previously selected resources.

Command key + Shift key + 0, 1, 2, etc.

You can switch between the open jobs using digits 1, 2, 3 thru 9 (job is then active).

The graphic window is detached from the user interface so that you can scale it up.

Browser Window

Command + O

Opens the "Open File..." window.

Command key +J

Opens the "Job Browser" window.

Command key + N

 

Creates a new job.

Command key + Alt + P

Print All Press Sheets of the Product Part ...

F7

Opens the "Assign Pages..." window.
Only active if a PDF file is loaded in "Contents" in the Browser window.

Graphic Window

"Command key + E" can be swapped, see Use Command Key + Spacebar for Zoom for details.

Keyboard / Mouse

Function

Command + M

The graphic window is detached from the user interface so that you can scale it up.

Hit "command key + M" again to integrate the window back into the user interface.

Click the arrows of the window borders

The window in the graphic view is maximized in length (applies to all four basic windows).

Click the other arrow to return to the standard view.

Double click on the colored caption bar of the front/back sheet

Shows or hides the back.

F11 and F12 key

In the "Press Sheet", "Folding Sheet/Assembly Block" and " Page List" tabs, you can select the next content with F11 and the previous one with F12.

Command key + D

When you select a 1up, the related back is automati­cally also selected.

A selected object is shown as large as possible in the graphic view.
The graphic view is scaled up if nothing is selected.

Returns scaleups to the default (Auto).

Space bar

Move tool (hand)

Click on ruler, drag to position holding down mouse button

 Alt + click on selected snap line

Set magnetic snap lines


Delete snap line

Command key + Shift key + click
 

Set a measuring position

Command key + Shift key + click
hold down mouse button and draw rectangle 

Create the measure tool

Click on ruler cross, define position with mouse pointer and click

Double click on ruler cross

Set zero on the ruler


Reset zero to standard origin

Command key + 9

Shows the back.

Command key + 9 again to return to the standard view.

Command key + 0

Open the "View Properties" dialog

Alt + Shift key + click

Opens a selection of objects to choose from. This func­tion is good if you have objects lying one on top of the other. In some constellations, it is not so easy to get hold of the object you want with just a mouse click.

Command key + Alt + A

All the selected elements in the graphic view are dese­lected.

Strg or Ctrl + right/left arrow button

Switching between the views for front and back (help­ful, for example, when working with the option "Place all 1ups with front/back swapped") as well as between press sheet variants and press sheets with rolls.

Page Inspector

Keyboard

Function

Click in "Offset" box + command key + Shift key + click in the "Folding Sheet" graphic view

Set position for alignment of offset

Click in text boxes + left/right arrow keys

Change "Offset" and "Scaling" step-by-step and visibly (in the graphic window) with the arrow keys
