Utilization by device class: Do we use available time effectively?
(Change language of this page to: English, Deutsch)
This page gives you an overview of the time utilization on the device class level: operating time, effective processing time and production time.
On this page you can find out how many hours the different device classes have run productively and how many hours were spent for downtime and setup. You can adjust the devices and years that should be included in these charts in the filter area on the left.
The charts use the following measures:
•The operating time consists of the hours between the moment the device is switched on and off again.
•The effective processing time consists of the hours that a device is occupied processing an operation. It starts with the beginning of an operation and ends with its completion. It includes any stops in between.
•The production time consists of the hours that are spent producing any time of result (including waste) but without taking into account any stops.
If you want to see the results for individual devices, go to the next page Utilization by devices.
