Planning

Click this button to open the Planning Assistant (see also Planning Assistant).

Properties

Click this button (shortcut Ctrl + I) to display the properties of layouts (see Properties of Layout), of signatures (see Properties of Signature), of sheets (see Properties of Sheet) or of surfaces (see Properties of Surfaces). You can only select this function if a layout, signature, sheet or surface was selected.

Note: You will also find the "Properties" function in the layout context-sen­sitive menu (F12 key).

Create Layout

"Create Layout" lets you create a new layout interactively with Prinect Signa Station. The following variations exist in this case:

•You want to create a new (additional) layout, irrespective of whether other layouts already exist.

•A layout already exists. The new layout will overwrite the existing lay­out. This works only if the new layout is created on the basis of MIS data.

•You imported MIS data to the Prinect Integration Manager. For that reason, you see a MIS parameter set in "Jobs > Layouts". You can use this parameter set to interactively create a new layout that matches the MIS specifications exactly. The Job Assistant of the interactively launched Prinect Signa Station then has the defaults of these MIS parameters.

Click the "Create Layout" button to display the "New Layout" window (see also the "New Layout" Window). Prinect Signa Station launches interactively when you set up this dialog and close it with "OK".

Note: You will also find the "Create Layout" function in the layout context-sensitive menu.

Import Layout

You can import an existing layout to the job with "Import Layout". You cre­ated this layout with Prinect Signa Station, e.g. in the offline workflow.

1.The "Select Layout" window opens when you click the "Import Lay­out" button.

2.Browse to your layout in this window and confirm with "OK" (see also the "Select Layout" Window).

3.Afterwards, the "Import Layout" window displays (see also the "Import Layout" Window).

The layout is imported to all selected product parts if you defined product parts.

Note: You will also find the "Import Layout" function in the layout context-sensitive menu (shortcut Ctrl + L).

Open

Click "Open" (shortcut Ctrl + O) to start the interactive Prinect Signa Sta­tion and open this layout for editing. The original of the layout is overwrit­ten by the changes.

Note: You will also find the "Open" function in the layout context-sensitive menu.

Replace Layout

You can replace the selected layout by another layout with "Replace Lay­out" (shortcut Ctrl + Shift + L). The name of the original layout and the sheet names are kept.

1.The "Select Layout" window opens when you click the "Replace Lay­out" button.

2.Browse to the other layout in this window and confirm with "OK" (see also the "Select Layout" Window).

3.Afterwards, the "Replace Layout layoutname" window displays (see also the "Replace Layout" Window).

Close Job

Click this button (or use shortcut Ctrl + W) to close the job and return to the "Jobs" window with the list of jobs or job groups.
