Detailed scheduling

Detailed scheduling is also possible parallel to normal scheduling that requires scheduling permis­sion. In detailed scheduling, the pressroom manager, for example, can reschedule the operations cur­rently planned for the next period. The following criteria apply to detailed scheduling:

•Detailed scheduling is done only in the "Machines view" tab (see "Machine view" tab ).

•Detailed scheduling can be done only if the user is logged in without scheduling permission.

•Detailed scheduling is possible only for a predefined period (up to max. 24 hours).

The maximum period for detailed scheduling is set in the "Presettings" dialog (see "Period for Detailed Schedule"). Detailed scheduling is not possible if "------" is selected.

•In detailed scheduling, only the order of operations can be changed.

•Operations cannot be removed.

•Forward or reverse scheduling is not possible.

•A warning is issued (a beep is heard) if the gaps between neighboring operations overlap.
