Privacy Policy | Imprint | Prinect Know How | Prinect Release Notes You can enter data in the "Manual Labor" window if you have to revise a job manually, for example, because of a customer request or for other reasons. The data you enter in this window are important for further processing of the job (record of extra work involved and who will meet the costs) in Prinect Production and in the Management Information System (MIS), if connected. User Name The name of the user logged in to the Cockpit automatically displays in this box when the "Manual Labor" window opens. Action Select the type of action from the list box. Status Select the processing status from the list box. Started To define "Started", you can enter the start date (date and time) in the date box. Alternatively, you can extend or shorten the date/time shown by clicking the small arrow keys. Click the date icon (to the right of the date box) to display the date window where you can select the date from a calendar. See also "Choose Date" Window. Stopped To define "Stopped", you can enter the end date (date and time) in the date box. Alternatively, you can extend or shorten the date/time shown by clicking the small arrow keys. The "Stopped" and "Duration" functions are disabled if you disable this function (no checkmark in box). Click the date icon (to the right of the date box) to display the date window where you can select the date from a calendar. See also "Choose Date" Window. Duration The duration of manual labor calculated from the difference between "Started" and "Stopped" is entered automatically in "Duration". You can also increase/reduce the duration shown in the boxes by clicking the small arrows keys or by typing in a different value. The following values can be changed in the three boxes: •The days are entered in box 1. •The hours are entered in box 2. •The minutes are entered in box 3. Work Type Work types are needed only if a Management Information System (MIS) is connected to Prinect Production. The work type is required to enter the item of manual processing correctly in the MIS. Select the type of booking from the list box. Comment In this box, write a comment, description or notes about the services rendered. This can be a good idea to avoid any unclarity with accounting straight away. Buttons "OK" button You close the "Manual Labor" window by clicking "OK", and the data you entered are applied. The dynamic status panel indicates this accordingly when the relevant job opens. "Cancel" button The "Manual Labor" window closes and all inputs are discarded.

Note: You can change the minutes value (up/down) by a value of 15 when you click the small arrow keys. You must type in any values that lie between.
Note: You can open the "Manual Labor" window again to edit it by marking the job and selecting "Edit Manual Labor" in the context menu (right-click).
