"Create new Job based on selected Job" Window

The "Create new Job based on selected Job" dialog opens when you mark a job in the job list and select "File > New > Job from Template" in the menu bar or "New > Job from Template" in the context menu. This function lets you create a new job that will use the main settings of the marked template job.

This dialog has several views, each of which display by clicking "Next". In these views, you enter data which are required for creating a new job or which can facilitate further setup of the job.

The current editing status displays as colored dots linked by a line above the controls in each view. The currently open view is indicated by an orange-colored dot. Views that are already edited have a green dot while views still to edit have a gray dot.

Buttons in all views

The following buttons are found in all the views:

"Back" button

Opens the previous view.

"Next" button

Opens the next view.

"Finish" button

The job is created with all the current settings (including the settings in the other views) and displays in the job list. The "Create new job based on selected job" window closes.

"Cancel" button

The "Create new job based on selected job" window closes. All your data is discarded.

Note: Not all of the buttons can be used in each view.
