Privacy Policy | Imprint | Prinect Know How | Prinect Release Notes "PageProof" Sequence Template You use the "PageProof" sequence to set the proofing of page contents. PageProof is used most frequently to check that colors are reproduced correctly (color proof). Characterization of the connected proofer is required for this, and the determined device profile must be available in the system environment of the Prinect server. If you use the Prinect Rendering engine as the "output engine", the Renderer will also use color management for proofing. The output parameters (for color management as well) are always set in the Cockpit user interface of Prinect Production. The parameters are sent internally to the Rendering engine and used for output. The "Layout Preparation", "Imposition", "Rendering" and "Destination" processes are always activated and can not be de-activated. An incoming document must therefore always run through these engines. The "Proofing" and "File Output" processes are dependent upon the device selected. You can configure the following options in the PageProof sequence: •"Layout Preparation" option "on" list box A proofer that you select in one of the "Color Conversion", "Trapping", "Layout Preparation", "Imposition" "Rendering", "File Output" or "Proofing" parameter groups is used at the same time in all of the above options. In other words, the parameters affect the selected device and the device is used for output in this sequence.

Note: The settings that are possible in each parameter group can vary depending on your proofing device. As a result, some parameters may be shown but they cannot be selected. In such a case, the device selected doesn't support these parameters.
