Area of available sequences Depending on the status and intended use of the sequences, the font style of the sequence names is displayed differently: •Standard Sequences that are suitable for submitting are displayed with sequence names in a "normal" font, provided the "Suppress non-supported sequences" option is not enabled. •Italic If the "Suppress non-supported sequences" option is enabled, the sequence names are displayed in italics. •Bold The names of sequences that are to be used for scheduling appear in "bold" type. "Suppress non-supported sequences" option If this option is enabled, only those sequences suitable for submitting are offered. "Priority" list box Here, you select the priority (Urgent, High, Normal or Low) the process will have. "Version" list box This is where you can select the version (such as German or English, etc.) to be submitted. "Print Amount" box This is where you can specify a different amount to the one scheduled. This setting is taken into account when the job is submitted to the relevant output sequence. "Positions" box Specify the page positions that you wish to submit. Example: •2,5-8 Page 2 and pages 5 thru 8 will be submitted. "Details" group You can open details by clicking the triangle. "Work Type" list box This is where you can select a work type. The work types available for the current job are presented for selection. Work types "Normal", "Internal" and "Customer" always display. If other work types were defined, for example, in the MIS, these work types can also be offered for selection in the list box. The work types that display depend on the destination of the Submit process. For certain output destinations, only those work types that are set up for the related device class are presented for selection. "Work mode" box This displays the work mode that is part of the selected work type. "Comment" box You can type a comment in this box, for example, explaining the reason for charging costs. "Scheduling" Group Here you can select the date on which editing with the selected sequence should start. You can choose between the following planning options: •Do Not Start Before Nothing is submitted before the period (date/time) you entered has expired. When the date is reached, the documents are submitted automatically to the selected sequence if a suitable one is available. After that, this sequence processes the documents. •Planned Start You can schedule the processing start date. Processing starts as soon as the editing sequence is available as of the scheduled date. The definition of the start date affects the sorting in the queue view. Jobs whose planned start is earlier than the start of other jobs are processed first. •Latest Completion This is where you define the latest completion date for this step. This is to make sure that processing is complete in any case before this date. The definition of the latest finish date also affects the sorting in the queue view. Jobs whose planned latest completion date is earlier than the completion date of other jobs are processed first. Determine the start date For each scheduling option, you specify the start date by entering a date (date and time) or by clicking on the small arrow buttons to increase or decrease the value of the activated number. You can also choose a date in a "Calendar view". To do so, click the neighboring button. A calendar window opens. See also "Choose Date" Window. The following is valid for all dates: •Dates in the future are black. Dates in the past are red. •A date you entered displays in the document view, in the column with the sequence to which the date refers. Button bar at bottom Button Function OK The selected element is submitted to the selected sequence. Cancel The window closes without applying any action. Add Sequence The "Select Templates to Add" window opens. This lets you add another sequence to the job. If the "Add template" window is closed, the added sequence is added to the range of available sequences and automatically selected. See also "Add templates" window.
