"Create Page List" Window

Prerequisite: To create a new page list, you must activate the "Page lists" view or the "Show page list assignment" view. See Changing views.

You can open the "Create page list" window by clicking on the "New" button in the page list view or in the "Show page list assignment" view or by selecting "Create new page list" from the context menu.

"Product" box

The name of the product to which the new page list is assigned is displayed here. If defined in the job, you can select a different product using the "Select" button.

"Name" box

Enter the name of the new page list here. If a page list with the same name already exists in the job, the name will be displayed in red and an error message will be displayed after clicking "OK".

"Start" and "Size" parameters

If you enabled the "Start" option, you are defining a page list with consecutive pages. In the "Start" and "Size" input fields, you define the start and size of the page sequence.

"Range" parameter

If you enable the "Range" option, you can define the page list by one or more sequences ("ranges") of pages. You define a range by entering the page number of the start page and the page number of the end page of the range and connecting them with a hyphen (without spaces), e.g. 4-9. If you define several ranges, the ranges must be separated by a comma. This can result in gaps between the ranges if certain page numbers are not included, e.g. 2-4, 6, 8-10. The total number of pages defined in the page list is calculated automatically.
